  • Condition: VERY GOOD - previously owned, used antique Claret Jug - Undamaged with some scattered, light edge wear to the silver plate mount - trace residue in the bottom, shelf wear to the base. STUNNING!

    Description

    This is an elegant etched glass CLARET JUG or ewer with an ornate silver plate mount.  The handle features a strategically draped figural Putto on the handle and an angry looking Bacchus head as the spout.  There are no markings that I could find - suspect this piece may be English - late 19th or early 20th century.
